Dear Neighbors, having talked with residents throughout the 27th District, it’s clear we all share the same hopes for Illinois and our communities.

We demand more responsibility, honesty and openness – and less bickering – when it comes to our tax investments and the way our state is governed. We expect great schools that prepare our kids for a competitive future.

We want quality career opportunities and access to affordable healthcare so our families can lead healthy, productive lives.

As a firefighter and paramedic, I’ve devoted much of my life to protecting others.

At a time when so many are discouraged by partisan antics, I am running to be your State Senator to plow through that and make a difference for you, your family and our communities.

To accomplish this will require a commitment to integrity and hard work that I live by every day.

  • We continue to have canvassing events, phone banking and other activities each week. And most importantly, you will be a partner in changing how we govern ourselves here in Illinois. Lets work together to make it happen in 2008, by joining my campaign today.

  • To volunteer, request a yard sign, become a precinct captain, host a coffee or block party, participate in parades, post electronic campaign promotions, conduct research, call friends and family, or help spread the news, send us a note to volunteer@votegutzmer.org. We would love to hear from you.

Canvassing from Palatine / Wheeling Democrats office 1310 W. Northwest Hwy, Arlington Heights

Each Tuesday Afternoon, 4-6pm.

After a brief meeting we will head out to knock on doors for Pete, and other local candidates. You can team up with a more experienced volunteer to learn the ropes. Please RSVP to Wendy at 847.253.9032 or wendypaldem@yahoo.com.
